チープ・トリック、80年代作の拡張版再発とボックス・セット発売が決定

　昨年にリリースされた最新作『ザ・レイテスト』も好評を博したチープ・トリック（Cheap Trick）。80年代リリースの作品群がボーナス・トラックを追加して再発されます。

　今回のリリースはアメリカの人気再発専門レーベル、Wounded Bird recordsによるもの。対象となるのは、1985年作『スタンディング・オン・ジ・エッジ（Standing On The Edge）』（写真）、1986年作『ザ・ドクター（The Doctor）』、1990年作『バステッド（Busted）』の3タイトル。『スタンディング・オン・ジ・エッジ』には「Tonight It's You」のシングル・ヴァージョンが、『ザ・ドクター』には「It's Only Love」のシングル・ヴァージョンが、『バステッド』には「Everything Works If You Let It」「Big Bang」がボーナス・トラックとして追加。なお、『バステッド』は、1980年にリリースされた4曲入りミニ・アルバム『Found All the Parts（邦題：デイ・トリッパー）』との2 in 1作品となります。発売は3タイトルとも米国にて5月18日。リマスタリング仕様（予定）。

　なお、これとは別に米EpicよりCD3枚組のボックス・セット『Music of Cheap Trick』が5月25日（米国）に発売される予定。代表曲はもちろんのこと、ライヴやオルタナティヴなどの別ヴァージョンも収めた全40曲入り。熱心なファンならこちらもお忘れなく！
