注目を集めるキッカケとなった1973年作『ピアノ・マン』(写真)や、1977年作『ストレンジャー』の爆発的ヒットで人気を不動のものとし、現在に至るまでその親しみやすいメロディで幅広い層から支持を得ている、ビリー・ジョエル。その彼のこれまで軌跡を詰め込んだボックス・セット『My Lives』が発売されます！

　本ボックスは4枚のCDと1枚のDVDからなるもの。CDにはこれまで数多く放ったヒット曲に加えて、ソロ・デビュー以前に在籍していたthe Lost Soulsやthe Hasslesの音源や、「ピアノ・マン」をはじめとする未発表のデモ音源、そしてボブ・ディラン「The Times They Are a Changin」、エルヴィス・プレスリー「Heartbreak Hotel」「All Shook Up」、ザ・ビートルズ「A Hard Day's Night」、アイズレー・ブラザーズ「Shout」などのカヴァー曲も収録。またDVDには、これまで未発売であった1993年作『リヴァー・オブ・ドリームス』発表後に行なわれたドイツ・フランクフルトでのライヴの模様を収録する予定です。発売はUSにて12月6日を予定しています。
