アイアン・メイデンが5月28日、チェコのプラハからワールド・ツアーをスタートさせました。今回のツアーは、昨年リリースしたDVD『ザ・ヒストリー・オブ・アイアン・メイデン パート1 ジ・アーリー・デイズ』に合わせて、初期4作からの曲を中心にプレイすると言われていました。まさにその通りの、マニア狂喜のセットリストになっています（詳細は下記）。

　オープニングには「The Ides of March」のテープが流され、「The Number of the Beast」ではPVやジャケットに登場した、赤い悪魔の扮装をした女性たちがステージに現れたそうです。前半は「The Trooper」と「Run to the Hills」を除いて、20年近く（以上？）プレイしていないであろう曲ばかり。なんとか来日していただきたいですよねぇ……。
