初期R.E.M.のベスト盤発売！未発表含むレア音源集付限定盤もあり

　R.E.M.が82年のデビューからメジャーのワーナーへと移籍する87年まで所属していた、I.R.S.レーベル時代の音源で構成されたベスト・アルバム『And I Feel Fine... Best of the I.R.S. Years 1982-1987』(写真)を発売することになりました！

　選曲はビル・ベリーを含むオリジナル・メンバー4人によるもので全21曲を収録。1CDの通常盤のほか、2CDのコレクターズ・エディション盤も同時発売され、ボーナス・ディスクには未発表を含むレア音源全21曲を収録。なお未発表のなかには「Bad Day」のオリジナル・ヴァージョンや、「All The Right Friends」の'80年初期のレコーディング音源などもあるとのこと。

　また同日には本ベストのDVD版といえる『When The Light Is Mine - The Best Of the I.R.S. years 1982-1987』も同時発売予定。こちらには初期ビデオ・クリップ、TVパフォーマンス、インタビューなどの貴重映像が収録される予定です。CD、DVDともに発売は米国にて9月12日を予定。すでにバンドの公式HPには特設サイトもオープンしていますので、気になる方は訪れてみては？
